1 million homes now on green gas tariffs

The GGCS are pleased to announce that over 1 million homes are now on green gas tariffs, tracked by our Renewable Gas Guarantees of Origin. Read more at Business Green. 

Green gas tariffs are being offered by Engie, Npower, Tonik Energy, Solarplicity, Good Energy, Bristol Energy, Ecotricity, Bulb, Green Energy UK, Ovo, Coop Energy and E.ON.

These tariffs range in the percentage of each households gas use that is matched to GGCS Renewable Gas Guarantees or Origin (RGGOs), from 6% to 100%, with some tariffs a mix of RGGOs and carbon offsets.
